Club GTI Nottingham

Bruce - one of the original members of Nottingham region and veteran VDub owner, now on his eighth! This is his
first - a Polo that had seen better days. Note his very first modification. To the nearside front wing!

Next came his first Golf - a low mileage model that had been carefully driven and frequently washed by a little old
lady. Of course, all that changed once Bruce acquired it! This car is now owned by another group member, and still
going strong 80K miles later. See if you can spot it!

His first GTI - a Mk3 8V. Not renowned for being the fastest GTI, but certainly a lot more spritely than the Driver.

Yes, we know this isn't a Dub, but this 2 litre Focus - his company car -
deserves an honorary mention.

Some good times were had with this car, both on and off-road (hope his
employer isn't reading this!)

Next - another Golf, this time a
2-litre Mk5 TDI

Took this on a high-speed trip back
to its German roots.

But all this modern stuff left him
wanting to get his hands back on
the real thing, so in 2005 he bought
this Mk2 8v.

Since then it has had three changes
of wheels, and various other
modifications, some of which are still
under way.

When it came on offer, he couldn't resist this handsome G60. Further modifications followed - on the supercharger and the
split-rim wheels refurbished.

Next, came this Mk 1 Caddy - which was transformed from its multi-coloured red to a smart blue.

	And currently (besides the GTI), he now has this 2006 VW Barge - sorry, that should say VW Passat.
