Club GTI Nottingham

My Golf! It's a Mk2 Driver, and came to me pretty much as VW designed it. To those of you familiar with the N/A Golf, you'll sympathise with the Pierberg icing-up - and here I am on the A42, waiting for help!

Whilst looking on-line for some solution to the carb-icing problem, I happened across Club GTI. So besides sorting the problem (replacing the Pierberg with a Webber), I also came across the amazing things other people were doing to their Dubs.

I was inspired!

Being somewhat impecunious, my early mods were rather embarrassing, as you see ....

Anyway, eventually common-sense prevailed, and it now looks somewhat more tasteful. The loud exhaust and the blue clusters have been banished and it has since been lowered and some VW steels put on.
